What Guests Are Saying

Fall River Campground offers a beautiful, clean, and quiet location ideal for fly fishing, with spacious campsites and easy access to the river. Many campers appreciate the serene atmosphere and the proximity to hiking trails. However, there were some issues with reserved spots being occupied and occasional noise from generators.

Sites were like camping in a talcum powder bottle. Campground needed more Gravel on roads/ parking areas to mitigate dust.

The camp was clean and close. If you are a fisherman or just like walking along the river, wow! You are right next to one of Central Oregon’s most beautiful rivers. Not for swimming….it’s cold. For the bad: You are not too far off of the road so you have that to contend with, but mostly quite during the night. A lot of the sites are small so if you are coming as a large group and tent camping be careful to get the larger sites. Otherall a good experience.

What a lovely campsite! Our site could have fit multiple tents, and it was nice to have extra wiggle room. We loved walking along the river with our pup, and we will definitely be back again!

Never saw the camp host. Not once in 4 days. He was there to fish with his buddies and had no interest in doing his job as a camp host. We brought water, but needed to refill our reusable water container, but absolutely could not find water anywhere in the town nearby. Had to wash the dishes in our melted cooler water!

Pit toilets were ok, not too stinky. The campsite was lovely. We just would have liked to see the camp host once in awhile, as we wanted to buy firewood & ask for recommendations about sources of water.
