About Delta

Known for its access to rafting and drift boat fishing on the McKenzie River, Delta campground, located along a portion of the West Cascades National Scenic Byway, is one of the largest and most scenic campgrounds on the McKenzie District. Access to the river, hiking and mountain biking trails are nearby. Reservations are available May through Mid-September, they can be made at least six months in advance, but must be made at least 4 days prior to your intended arrival date.

Policies & Rules

General

  • There is no Electricity/Water/Sewer site hook-ups at this campground.
  • This campground has first-come, first-served sites.
  • Reservations are taken from May through Mid-September.Sites may be available on a first-come, first-served basis outside of the reservation season.
  • No ATV's or ORV's allowed.
  • Don't Move Firewood: Please protect Pacific Northwest forests by preventing the spread of invasive species. Firewood can carry insects and diseases that can threaten the health of our western forests. You can make a difference by obtaining and burning your firewood near your camping destination. Visit Dontmovefirewood.org for further information.
  • Firewood may be available
  • Be bear aware; keep all food out of sight in approved containers or locked inside your vehicle and remove all food from the area after eating
  • No discharging firearms, possession of fireworks or use of chainsaws allowed
  • Be sure to reserve a site that will accommodate your equipment. The site you reserve is your site. You man not move to another site.
