What Guests Are Saying

Cave Creek Campground offers a beautiful and secluded experience, with plenty of free firewood available, though it may require splitting. The camp host is highly praised for being friendly and helpful, enhancing the overall experience. While some sites can be noisy due to nearby campers and there are limited amenities, the peaceful atmosphere, clean facilities, and proximity to the Oregon Caves National Monument make it an appealing destination for nature lovers.

Beautiful, clean, and remote campsite with a kind and helpful host. Our campsite had access right next to the creek running through which also provided great background noise to fall asleep to (as someone who struggles to sleep in complete silence). This was also only a few miles from the cave monument, which was a fun and informative tour. I have a feeling we will be camping here again. Be aware there are very few amenities offered and supply stores are about ways away, so come with what you need (save for firewood which could be collected in abundance on site).

Beautiful campground area with sounds of the creek at night. The CG host LouAnn is absolutely wonderful! Bathrooms were clean and stocked with tp.
There was an uncomfortable situation with a nearby campsite, but LouAnn handled it quickly and professionally. Additionally, the cg maintenance crew and forest service law enforcement made regular patrols to ensure everyone had a safe and enjoyable camping experience. Would 100% return to this cg.

Host was extremely helpful. Recreation.gov site said it was a tent only site but this is not correct. We stayed with our truck camper just fine. sites are just too small for a trailer or large motorhome.

One of the best campgrounds I have ever been. Beautiful memories, the sound of the river and the wind hugging and kissing the trees. waking up listening to birds singing. It was a magical exquisite experience. Also the person who I was that day made it more magical.

Love it
