This was my second time to the dunes. We enjoyed our time. The only downside to the dunes is the lack of a dumpsite. You have restrooms and pit toilets there should be no reason why you don’t have a dumpsite.

The area is beautiful except for the unfortunate amount of trash that seems to be overlooked by visitors and the hosts. We cleaned more than a bag of trash from our campsite before setting up, and could have easily cleaned more from other sites. It was both wonderful to be there and heartbreaking at the same time. If you are in to ATV’s the weekends are for you but if you’d like a little more quiet time pick mid week.

Spot numbers were changed after the reservation was made so I did not get the location I originally reserved.

My spot was great and neighbors were good I love sand lake and my kids love it too. I just wish with all the money people spend on visiting sand lake and pacific city they would fix the roads so it’s not so bumpy with our Toy hauler and truck. Thank you.

This was an awful experience. The restrooms are disgusting and we couldn’t leave camp without other vehicles parking in our reserved spots. I couldn’t find a camp host or ranger to help we get people out of my spot so unfortunately I didn’t get to use my whole reserved spot. I would like a refund
