The site I reserved was pretty open and really had no shade, so I won't get that one again. I've been going to Three Creeks for 30 years and was disappointed that they did not address garbage, the bathrooms and recycling the 4 days I was there, it was all overflowing and no toilet paper. Keep in mind when you reserve the back loop and sites are slanted to get to your spot from the road.

Shame that the services have been so cut back. No toilet paper for days. Bathrooms not cleaned. No sight of a campground host and trash piling up. I have been going to this lake for 58 years and it’s appalling that for 30 or so bucks a night you get nothing. The fishing was fun, hated the unleashed dogs all over the place. Asked a guy if his unleashed dog was ok with me walking past with my leashed dog. He said yes and of course his dog attacked ours. The hiking is nice but for that you have to have a permit now and they do check on that issue. Beautiful place but it’s not being taken care for.

When we arrived, we discovered our site was
1. occupied by someone else
2. much too sloped for an RV to park in
3. our name/info were nowhere on the registration post.
So we went elsewhere.

The site location was neither close to parking, nor the lake. It was on a significant slope that didn’t really allow for any spot to put a tent flat. Most annoyingly, there was a sizable downed tree between the site and parking, forcing you to squeeze around it.

There is not a lot of shade in site #4, so some sort of shade for the picnic table was very helpful. lots of places for a tent and parking fits a 24ft trailer easy. Easy access to hikes from campsite. Beautiful view and access to lake.

Noisy and inconsidetate neighbors talking loudly around the campfire til midnight the last night and the campspot next door had confusion between an on - line reservation (the late night talkers) and one made at the sign at the entrance to the campground. There wer a lot of pull behind trailers at this tent only place too,,,,,

Beautiful peaceful lake, and lovely upper lake nearby to walk around. Site 17 nd other upper level Driftwood sites are steep, so hard work setting up and taking down camping gear, but worth the effort for the beautiful set-up.

We love this campground. The proximity to the lake and the surrounding Mountain View’s are stunning. A huge shout out to the camp host, Drea. What a fantastic person to have at the campground. Also loved the little general store/marina. Such a great vibe.

Campgrounds are dust bowls and could be so much nicer with some maintenance work.

General
- This is a no water facility so campers will need to bring their own supply.
- This campground is only suitable for tent camping since we cannot accommodate RVs or trailers.
- Prevent the spread of invasive species by inspecting and cleaning packs, equipment and tires before using lake or trails.
- Please Note: One vehicle per single site. Most sites can accommodate 1 extra vehicle that is not included with the reservation fee. Extra vehicle will be charged a per night fee and collected at the campground.
- Fire Restrictions: Fire restrictions may be imposed at any time due to hot, dry weather conditions, at which time campfires and charcoal fires may not be allowed.
- During your time in Central Oregon, you can find wildfire, prescribed fire and smoke information at centraloregonfire.org
- Reserved Sites will be held until the day following your arrival date. Sites must be occupied by the checkout time of that following day to hold a reservation or the site will be forfeited and released to other guests. Once your reservation start date has begun, neither the Recreation.gov Contact Center nor the campground manager will be able to modify your reservation.
- Refunds: Refund requests made through www.recreation.gov will be charged a $10 processing fee. This fee is retained by the reservation service contractor along with the non-refundable reservation fee. All requests for the return of the non-refundable reservation fee and the cancellation fee will be declined by the campground concessionaire as they did not receive these fees (these are the fees retained by the reservation contractor, a different entity).
- Don't Move Firewood: Please protect Pacific Northwest forests by preventing the spread of invasive species. Firewood can carry insects and diseases that can threaten the health of our western forests. You can make a difference by obtaining and burning your firewood near your camping destination. - Camping or otherwise occupying a single location (including leaving camping equipment and/or related supplies) for a period longer than 14 consecutive calendar days is prohibited. ‘Location’ means the occupied area, the occupied campsite, and the National Forest System lands in the immediate vicinity thereof. Camping or occupying any location on all National Forest lands for more than 28 calendar days total during a calendar year is prohibited.
- NO generator use is allowed in campgrounds. Silent power banks or battery powered devices are allowed.
