Very nice spot and campground. We were lucky, due to the fires the campground was nearly empty. A large group was scheduled to come in on Friday, but that was our check out day. Fished one day of our three day stay and caught our limit in a couple of hours. Also enjoyed visiting with other campers and the store operator.

Camp ground seemed run down. Fire pit was full of ash. downed trees and branches were laying around. It just had a very rough look and feel. Bathrooms were full of flies and not cleaned of floor debris. Overall it was just ok but not great for appearances. lake was great, road up was rough needs some grading. After 50 years in this area i think we need to pay attention to these campgrounds.

Great campground with easy access to the lake. Site #10 was fantastic! Backs up to the beautiful meadow with a small creek running through. Lots of space behind the site for my young kids to explore the forest. It is quite close to the other sites but if you just focus on the meadow and mountain side, it's all good. Flat area good for our tent. Bathrooms were fine enough. Short 1 min. trail gets you right onto the beach area where you are surrounded by true beauty!

Site #8 is in the middle of the turnaround at the end of the campground. It is large with plenty of shade. There is a tiny view of the lake. The trail to the lake is about 100 yards in length. and flat. A restroom is nearby and was relatively clean and stocked with toilet paper. There is no potable water available in the campground. The major issue was the near constant stream of vehicles circling the campsite. Vehicle began driving by at 6:00 a.m. every day and continued until dark. Most of the drivers of these vehicles seemed to be looking for an available campsite. Some even stopped and asked us if we were the Camp Host (apparently there is a sign somewhere that says the Host is in site #8). There is virtually zero privacy.

I originally reserved a camp site for and RV. Later I modified the reservation to include one other person and his tent. When I arrived at the camp site, I found that the parking area for my RV/Van was too small, too narrow, and very steep. I have already written to Recreation.gov and requested a full refund since the site was not usable for a camper van.
I drove 4 hours to get to the camp site and drove 4 hours home the same day.
Please correct your system to list camp site 011 at Three Creeks Lake, as a tent site only.
I have not received any refund.

Beautiful location. Nice sites and very clean. Terrific location for early start for Tam hike.

I would not recommend staying in site 11 if you are not able to walk good or have a camper. The site is tent only and is up a hill.The trek up the tiny hill though was awful after summiting broken top and doing 22 miles. I enjoyed my stay though. I had very nice neighbors. Overall a very peaceful campground that allowed me to rest fully before my return. Close to hiking and the lake was so nice.

Policies & Rules
General
- This is a no water facility so campers will need to bring their own supply.
- Prevent the spread of invasive species by inspecting and cleaning packs, equipment and tires before using lake or trails.
- Please Note: One RV with tow vehicle per single site or one vehicle per tent site. Most sites can accommodate 1 extra vehicle that is not included with the reservation fee. Extra vehicle will be charged a per night fee and collected at the campground.
- Fire Restrictions: Fire restrictions may be imposed at any time due to hot, dry weather conditions, at which time campfires and charcoal fires may not be allowed.
- During your time in Central Oregon, you can find wildfire, prescribed fire and smoke information at centraloregonfire.org
- Reserved Sites will be held until check out time (NOON) the day following your arrival date. Sites must be occupied by the checkout time of that following day to hold a reservation or the site will be forfeited and released to other guests. Once your reservation start date has begun, neither the Recreation.gov Contact Center nor the campground manager will be able to modify your reservation.
- Refunds: Refund requests made through www.recreation.gov will be charged a $10 processing fee. This fee is retained by the reservation service contractor along with the non-refundable reservation fee. All requests for the return of the non-refundable reservation fee and the cancellation fee will be declined by the campground concessionaire as they did not receive these fees (these are the fees retained by the reservation contractor, a different entity).

- Camping or otherwise occupying a single location (including leaving camping equipment and/or related supplies) for a period longer than 14 consecutive calendar days is prohibited. ‘Location’ means the occupied area, the occupied campsite, and the National Forest System lands in the immediate vicinity thereof. Camping or occupying any location on all National Forest lands for more than 28 calendar days total during a calendar year is prohibited.
- NO generator use is allowed in campgrounds between 10:00PM and 7:00AM (36 CFR 261.10). Silent power banks or battery powered devices are allowed.
