What Guests Are Saying

Three Creeks Lake Campground offers a beautiful, peaceful setting with clean facilities and helpful camp hosts who enhance the camping experience. The location is ideal for hiking and fishing, with a serene atmosphere created by nearby creeks and the lake. However, some sites, especially site 11, may pose challenges for those with mobility issues, and there can be congestion from day users on weekends.

I would not recommend staying in site 11 if you are not able to walk good or have a camper. The site is tent only and is up a hill. The trek up the tiny hill though was awful after summiting broken top and doing 22 miles. I enjoyed my stay though. I had very nice neighbors. Overall a very peaceful campground that allowed me to rest fully before my return. Close to hiking and the lake was so nice.

A beautiful campground.
With the creeks running next to our site, very peaceful. The road has improved dramatically over the years. The lake is amazing with rainbows and brownies to catch.

Nice little campground. Site 2 is spacious and was a convenient pull thru spot for our teardrop trailer. Not a far walk to the pit toilet (which was very clean). Convenient walk to the lake as well. Already pretty chilly mid Sept with the higher elevation.

Beautiful place to camp though there are mosquitoes and wasps: a screened shade structure is nice in camp. On hot days, there are a huge number of day users & their dogs on the lake & beach during the day. Not all of them clean up after their pets, unfortunately. The pit toilets are clean, though they run out of TP during the camp host's days off, so be prepared. Garbage cans are mostly non-existent, so haul out your own trash. Besides bugs, wildlife includes a few deer and lots of various ground squirrels. The squirrels will climb right into your car and food bins after treats so keep everything secure. In the morning, we saw wolverine tracks on the beach - pretty exciting. No potable water in the campground, though there is a spring over by the creek, so bring your own drinking water.

Our trailer site was so unlevel - side to side and front to back- that it interfered with our sleep and housekeeping activities. Illegal camp fires were common; our site had considerable litter. Only give two stars because the toilets were immaculate and low odor.

The campground itself is pretty nice. The day use people is a different story. The amount of people who show up for the day is unbelievable for the size of the lake. They gotta be a bunch of California transplants that moved to bend. The lack of common sense by the hoard of people is astonishing, they can’t park, they can’t drive, they can’t watch their kids etc. it’s really a nice little lake but if we go again we won’t be going on a weekend.
