Campground hosts and the rangers were helpful, informative and super nice. The campground was clean and quiet with exception to the bathrooms. They were filthy even after they were supposedly cleaned. I know there were issues with the crew hired to do them. My one big complaint I have (and I voiced my opinion on this for years) is the swim area. Truly , what’s the point of even calling it by that name anymore. I’ve been camping here for over 40 years so I know it has been one at one time. It was fantastic for families to spend the day there (as my kids did). It’s extremely disappointing that my grandchildren cannot. The area did not have the heavy grasses and we were able to swim all the way out to the end of the jetty. Can that ever come back?

This was our first stay at Pine Meadows and we had a great experience. The water access was great for swimming and playing on the shore. Other campers were friendly and respectful. The park was clean and well maintained.

Very nice campground. Manned gate at entrance. No alcohol allowed kept the riff raff out. Our spot was not on the water, but there was access to the water via other campsites with paths from the road so you didn’t feel like you were intruding. Water was warm, a tad bit weedy, but very nice for the hot summer days. Would love to come back! Feels like a hidden gem close to home!

From Roseburg, Oregon: Traveling north on Interstate 5 to Exit 170. Take exit 170; continue driving on Highway 99 for approximately 2.3 mi. Take a right on Latham Road and drive approximately 1 mi. Turn Right on London Road and drive approximately 3 mi. Take a left on Cottage Grove Reservoir Road and drive 2.5 mi to Pine Meadows Campground.
