The sites next to the lake are spacious and most have direct access to the water. The sites in the center could use better definition and privacy hedges. Because I was in front of a bathroom, I had a steady stream of people walking through my site to the bathroom day and night. A dedicated path to the bathrooms would help.

The Primitive campground is nothing like the main campground. I was told the price difference was due to a lack of showers and flush toilets. In reality, it should be 1/2 the price of the main campground. Along with a lack of showers, there is also no shade, no lake access, no privacy, no separation between sites, no walking trails, no atmosphere, and no view of the lake. What you do have are an abundance of noisy generators and an extremely smelly pit toilet.

Clean campground except water was dark color. Need to bring back extra vehicle options with fees. Neighbors encroached on our site and the site of our friends. Bathrooms were being cleaned at the peak of the morning when we needed them.(8:00-8:30.) We stay here every year so we will be back.

Mid week traveling back to Washington. We were able to find a nice pull through spot by the reservoir even though we didn't have a reservation. Camp hosts are on top of things and have the spots clearly marked if the spot is reserved or not. No hook ups but there is a dump station. The park is well maintained.
