We had a wonderful stay at Pine Meadows. The campground was quiet and the restrooms were clean. We will return when we pass by next time!

Probably one of the worst experience in camping so far. Never been here and never going back here again. We had the misfortune of being neighbors with a family of perverts, they kept staring at us and watching us the 1st day/night here. 2nd night got so much worse, there was a new family behind us, the mom "warned" us of her son but never warned us of herself or his father's threatening behavior. The father screamed for over 3 hours at his kids, yelling insults and curses at them, even with a park ranger letting him know to cool it, he didn't. It got progressively worse into the night, we could hear them adults fighting, the kids kept flashing their lights into our tent. Again, thought that was the worse until the mother came into our campsite to insult and accuse my wife of illegal activities but no park ranger ever came to talk to either of us. Then in the morning, the family would repeatedly harass us until we started to pack up and leave, we couldn't use the bathroom without hearing threats from them. Didn't feel comfortable notifying the park ranger as they don't stay in the area and we had poor to no phone service.

We stayed in the rustic area of the campground, in a large campsite with lake views. It is a beautiful area. The campsite was well kept, clean and comfortable. We use a camping trailer, and are self-contained but there was a pit toilet and water faucet near our campsite which was handy! We stayed two nights. Generally the other campers in the area were quiet, but the second night we were there a large group probably of two or three families, in two cars, with several really young children, arrived at 8:30pm. They were in the campsite nearest to us, and started setting up multiple tents, some adults from the group drove off and returned later, complaining loudly about something. The young children were often screaming and yelling at one another, the adults would just yell at the children. They screamed and yelled until about 10:30pm when they apparently fell asleep but it started back up at 6:30am with children screaming and the adults yelling at them. This seemed to be how they all communicated, no physical abuse was happening, they were just terribly noisy, ill-behaved and inconsiderate.

This spot is lake view, very large area, tucked into the corner of campground. Bathrooms are kept clean and stocked daily. Water spots available but does have a yellow tinted to it so I would suggest bringing water also. There is a lovely place up the road to buy firewood for $10 a bundle which is enough for 2-3 fires. Very enjoyable spot.
