What Guests Are Saying

Rujada Campground is well-maintained with beautiful swimming holes, great loop trails, and friendly camp host Steve, contributing to a peaceful atmosphere. While the campground currently lacks potable water and has porta potties, the rustic charm and privacy of certain sites enhance the overall experience. Despite some drawbacks, many visitors express a willingness to return.

The bathroom outhouse was very smelly and the garbage was overflowing. No one there to maintain the campground properly.

We absolutely love camping here! The campsites are private and secluded with so much to do around the campground and nearby area. Rujada is one of our favorite campgrounds by far in Oregon!

Camp site was great, hiking trails, swimming, playground, frisbee and corn hole in field was great. Arrived on Thursday, bathrooms were bad, finally cleaned on Saturday. Very noisy party, music & screaming started Fri. @ 9 pm and went till 5 am! Started again Sat. @ 11 pm but we and several other campers got them to keep it down. No camp host!

RUN!!! Do not stay here!!! There is no camp host & no rangers & no cell service, BUT squatters living in the campground!!!
The squatters don’t care if you have a reservation or not!
The ranger station was staffed w/ nice employee’s BUT nobody prepared to have squatters removed!!!

Beautiful! Quiet- Stunning spot... It's the 3rd week of June, and the campground is still very quiet during the weekdays--- just a few folks starting to trickle in Wednesday evening and Thursday. Our site was reserved and waiting for us! Amenities are perfect with fresh potable water and flush toilets. Don't miss the swimming hole and waterfalls at Brice Creek, just a short drive and easy hike from Rujada. Thank you Umpqua Nat'l Forest Service _/\_ you are doing a great job!

Nice small campground. Very quiet midweek, one night we were the only ones in the campground. The nature trail was great, with wildflowers, butterflies and nice scenery.
