What Guests Are Saying

Rujada Campground is well-maintained with beautiful swimming holes, great loop trails, and friendly camp host Steve, contributing to a peaceful atmosphere. While the campground currently lacks potable water and has porta potties, the rustic charm and privacy of certain sites enhance the overall experience. Despite some drawbacks, many visitors express a willingness to return.

The campground itself is beautiful with nice spots and great swimming holes with scenic waterfalls. There is a gorgeous short hike loop. A charming bridge welcomes you into the campground. The bathrooms are very basic (they do flush) but leave a lot to be desired. There is no camp host due to Covid which seems to be the primary issue. There is a large group who seems to be staying there long term who are completely obnoxious. They drink and party with super Loud music and literally were howling to The moon at 1am. Many people left. They have kids who just bully other kids for no reason, following my kids (who generally get along with everyone) around calling them
Names, throwing shoes at them, threatening their big brother will beat them up. So I would not recommend going until 2021 when a camp host is present.

A lot of the campground has become overgrown, the bathroom was very dirty with a hole in the roof. We also left two days early due to a bear coming a little too close for comfort to our campsite. This was my favorite campground but I don’t think I will return.

This campground does not have a host. There was no toilet paper, paper towels or hand soap. Worst of all, there was a group of people living in host site, and they were dealing drugs. Traffic came in all night long. It’s too bad. It’s a nice little campground that is not be taken care of.
