Just needed a 1 night stay while traveling south from Salem. The young lady at the check-in kiosk was super nice and helpful. She picked a spot for us the was right on the river with plenty of open space around us. The showers were clean and warm and the entire park is well maintained. Sorry we only had one night to stay.

Friendly and helpful crew at check-in. Beautiful campground. Trees, greenery, many spacious sites, neat and tidy. The dump station was easy to use as we left. Stayed here primarily due to its proximity to the Row River Trail. The intersection with the trail is about 1.5 miles away. It was quite rainy during our stay, and we only rode the upper half of the trail as that was about the only dry window we had. Left a day earlier than originally planned due to the forecast of another soaker.
Quite easy to get to from I-5. We'd stay here again as an overnight. We don't feel the need to ride the Row River Trail again.

Nice open park with lots of space to spread out in each campsite. Lovely trees for shade and hammocks. Great playground for kids, access to the river and short drive to the lake. Biggest downside was their very strict “no more than two cars per campsite” and NO other options (can’t pay extra for more and no other allowed parking in the campground, not even just day parking). We had to drive an extra car miles down the road to park overnight at the Wal-Mart and some friends who wanted to come visit/have dinner for a couple hours were chased off immediately. Seems like a ridiculous rule since there was PLENTY of space available.
