Had a great time with the family. The lake is not really accessible from this location. Nice walking/hiking trail. Not all fire pits are raised above ground(2ft).

The campsite was nice and kind of private. A lot of the campsites here are pretty open and there’s like no privacy.

This is one of the most beautiful parks we have stayed at. Went during the middle of the week while it was nice and quiet. We booked a double spot so we had plenty of room for the dogs. Lots of places to walk and lake or river fishing near by. There is a picture online of a nice trout (not steelhead) that a guy caught.

I have camped at Schwarz multiple times. The camp hosts are always very nice and professional. The restrooms are always clean. The entire campground is always clean and I have always felt safe there. There’s waterfalls not far away to go and explore. I have fun exploring the multiple forest roads and finding hidden fun spots.

The sites with high numbers (above 67) are located in the conifers forest and do not have good grass cover. In addition it looks like some works have been done to remove the blackberry shrubs using tracked vehicles. As the result the weak grass cover was damaged and now the majority of the area is just muddy clay.
