Paid for a double site that allowed 16 people, but only permitted 4 vehicles in a space that could easily fit 7. Wouldn’t allow us to pay for overflow parking even though they have a large overflow parking area, we even offered $20 per vehicle. We were constantly harassed by the ranger every time an extra vehicle was just trying to drop gear. Was told we had half an hour to remove a vehicle, ranger came back 17 minutes later, and gave us a written warning, even though we complied to demands. Ranger told my disabled handicap mother, who had a handicap placard, that she needed to leave. Was harassed about the traffic we had to our site, even though we were obeying speed limit, and only going in & out to nearby swimming areas during the day. Harassed about being parked a foot on the grass while dozens of other vehicles were allowed to completely park on grass on their sites. Wouldn’t do anything to accommodate us, even though they admitted we were great guests, other than the parking issue. We respected our neighbors, followed leash laws, no drugs/alcohol and obeyed speed limit. This harassment even had us arguing with each other over the parking issue, some of our guests even left over it. This harassment 100% ruined our entire weekend. Do NOT recommend this campground!

Such a beautiful park. I would say, however, that maintenance of the women's restroom sinks really needs to step up. For 3 days one, or BOTH, were not working. Ugh ):

The check-in procedure really needs to be examined and streamlined to prevent the back up onto the highway. This is a dangerous and preventable situation that should be addressed immediately.

Wow! Such a nice campground! We have lived in Eugene for 20 years and never been here but we will add it to the top of our favorite campgrounds! Tons of kids and parents, very friendly and respectful and sooooooo clean!!! We loved the swimming hole and the playground for our little ones.

Nice family-friendly campground. Lots of open spaces. Good room between campsites. Paved roads good for kids’ bike riding. Be sure to see the Cottage Grove Covered Bridge Trail.

Gorgeous place to stay! Sites are spacious and some are close to a river. There is a wonderful biking trail up to Dorena Lake. Gorgeous views. I will definitely stay here again if ever in this area
