Access road is terrible washboard.

We had a great time, camped along the inlet to Davis Lake. We were surprised to see how low the lake was and no real access. We took our kayaks to Crane Paire for access to the water.

Loved the location and quietness. The river was fun. Cresent Lake was a short get away and lots of fun.

This is one of the most beautiful places in Oregon, with a pristine meandering stream within the high Cascade lakes, and abundant fish. Unfortunately the campground is a small transplant of the usual loud cars and music and yelling and illegal snagging, and on a busy summer weekend it might as well be Ft Stevens. We love this place and it's kind of tragic.

Nice little campground. Like any campground these days you have to tolerate generators plus trash and cigarette butts people leave behind. The highway next to the campground is covered in trash, not always obvious when you’re driving by fast, but I walked along the highway and it’s very sad. People clearly just threw the trash out the windows as they drive-by. Central Oregon is not the pristine place that used to be.

Nice campground, just wish people that reserved a campsite would respect the cancelation process and no-show to their reservation of a highly sought after campsite.

Beautiful setting and generally quiet other than some generator use during the day. Bathrooms were clean and maintained each day. Site 12 is a pull through spot but has nothing to separate it from the campground road.

Mosquitos and biting flies were very persistent, but the bathrooms were well cared for.
