What Guests Are Saying
East Davis Campground is a well-maintained and picturesque location with clean facilities and a friendly campground host. Visitors enjoy the peaceful environment, opportunities for wildlife viewing, and various recreational activities like paddling and biking. However, some concerns include issues with the new water supply system, occasional noise disturbances, and the presence of biting red ants, along with recent fire restrictions.

In June the ability to have campfires was stopped due to risk of forest fires. We totally understood. In late Aug. we were at Rock Creek campground. There was a campfire at another campsite. I reported the infraction but was told that it was ok to have one there! The forest there is very dense and lower half of all the trees have dead branches. An extremely high fire danger. There was a forest fire at the time just 25 miles north. We were very nervous camping there under these circumstances. We felt very safe at East Davis campground. Also had mice problem at Rock Creek.

East Davis lake campground is a magical place. Grab a waterfront spot and bring your fly rod and your river floats.

No water this year due to COVID and fire restrictions made this less than an ideal experience. In addition, the camp has not gotten the care it needs to be brought back up to the condition it was prior to the 2003 fire. The trails have not been repaired. The Odell creek trail over to the west campground used to be a fantastic nature experience for kids but it is no more.

The campground was great, beautiful scenery along the creek. However, this time of year the lake is so low, you can’t really access it without walking through boggy mud and marsh.

Great spot to camp in the Cascades during the summer...as long as you avoid the mosquitoes at dusk ;-).

Davis Lake is a quiet campground with adequate space between sites. The creek is slow moving and holds different types of fish. The campground is very shaded, where the day use area is much more open for enjoying the sun.

We stayed in #17. Kind of busy with the public access in front on it. But glad to get a partial water front.

Went there to fish the lake but there was no boat ramp available.

Really just a nice quiet little place. It’s always a little tough to not have running water, but the vault toilets were clean and the campground is rustic and liveable.
