We have been coming to East Davis Lake Camp for Hunting for years, it has been one of our favorites for many of those years and while it is great to see the regrowth from its fire many years ago it has become over grown on the road in and within the campground road. Use caution if you have a large RV as it will damage top and sides.

We love this little quiet campground! The creek that runs by is the perfect size for our little boys (5 & 7) to adventure in. Plenty of fish and bugs to look at! It would be fun to bring kayaks and go down to the lake sometime when they are older, but for now the campground itself has plenty to do.

Really just a nice quiet little place. It’s always a little tough to not have running water, but the vault toilets were clean and the campground is rustic and liveable.

Went there to fish the lake but there was no boat ramp available.

Davis Lake is a quiet campground with adequate space between sites. The creek is slow moving and holds different types of fish. The campground is very shaded, where the day use area is much more open for enjoying the sun.

Great spot to camp in the Cascades during the summer...as long as you avoid the mosquitoes at dusk ;-).

No water this year due to COVID and fire restrictions made this less than an ideal experience. In addition, the camp has not gotten the care it needs to be brought back up to the condition it was prior to the 2003 fire. The trails have not been repaired. The Odell creek trail over to the west campground used to be a fantastic nature experience for kids but it is no more.

In June the ability to have campfires was stopped due to risk of forest fires. We totally understood. In late Aug. we were at Rock Creek campground. There was a campfire at another campsite. I reported the infraction but was told that it was ok to have one there! The forest there is very dense and lower half of all the trees have dead branches. An extremely high fire danger. There was a forest fire at the time just 25 mi north. We were very nervous camping there under these circumstances. We felt very safe at East Davis campground. Also had mice problem at Rock Creek.
