What Guests Are Saying
Princess Creek Campground offers a beautiful lakeside experience with clean facilities and friendly camp hosts who are dedicated to maintaining the area. Many visitors enjoyed the peaceful atmosphere, great fishing, and well-kept restrooms. However, some guests noted issues with small campsite sizes, uneven terrain, and noise from the nearby highway, which can detract from the overall experience.

The best campsite ever! Great for viewing the mountains and excellent boat mooring location. Will stay here again.

My reservation site 16 was on the water and away from the highway that was placed months in advance to accommodate my family was deemed "unsafe" due to the tip of a tree that was broken. Yet many people were seen accessing the site.No notice in advance was made to notify me. No refund was offered. Was told to use site 1 with no accommodations. It was much smaller than my reserved site. Plus there was no camp host on site and had to drive to next campground sunset campground to get answers why this happens and was rudely greeted with no answers nor accommodations to rectify the situation. Will not be recommending nor ever camping at either site again.

This was a very nice campground. Lots of trees and shade. Downside was that if you didn’t have a site directly on the lake it was difficult to access the lake other than the boat ramp. Sites were spacious and with a 28’ travel trailer I had no problem backing in. It’s a truly dry camping experience as there is no water available. Only vault toilets. The hosts were very personable but didn’t stay directly at the campground - they were at a campground down a ways. The campground is close to the main highway so you can hear some highway noise but it didn’t bother us at night. Overall, it was a very good experience.

Very clean campgrounds! Bathrooms were kept clean and stocked. Location is easily accessible. Make sure to get the lake side sites for easiest access to the water.

Try to get campsites directly on the lake. The hwy is right on the edge so there is lots of freeway noise. Also note there is no water, so be sure to pack enough.
The lake bed is rocky but nice for a dip.

2/3rd's of the sites are very close to Route 58 and you can hear the traffic at night and its very loud.
Also, there are a LOT of fallen trees that have yet to be removed and it looks messy.
Some spaces are extremely small and may only allow for a small tent and 1 car.
The sites by the water are larger for the most part.
Space 10 is ok... but a little bit on a slope. Also missing the grill from the fire pit.

An amazing place to camp if you want direct water access. We were able to swim and float without leaving our campsite.

Our first Campsite was nice but some people were a little loud and that was a bummer. they ran their generator for hours in the evening and played music during dinner time. We moved to another site the last night and it was amazing. Quiet and the view was spectacular. The facilities were clean. Hosts were friendly.
