About Spring

Nestled in Deschutes National Forest, Spring Campground offers visitors some of the most stunning scenery in central Oregon and easy access to an abundance of recreational activities in the Cascade region. A favorite among visitors, the sites in this campground are widely-spaced and scattered among a mixed conifer forest, giving it an open and sunny character. The campground looks out to the stunning water of Crescent Lake, and several tent-only sites are on the lake front.

What Guests Are Saying

Spring Campground at Crescent Lake offers a beautiful setting with clean facilities and friendly hosts, making it a favorite among visitors. While the proximity of tent sites can be a concern during peak times, the peaceful atmosphere during weekdays is highly praised. Although mosquitos and low lake levels are noted drawbacks, many campers appreciate the campground's charm and plan to return.

Beautiful campground right on the lake! Very family friendly and quiet when we were there. First time I went there in 2018, camp hosts were so sweet, last year 2019, a little less sweet but didn't hinder the experience! Well maintained and clean! We took our kayaks out and had a blast as well as the boat. I hope to make this place a yearly trip!

We have been going there for over 55 years as a child, then adult with my children and now my grandchildren. The campsites are spacious and the area is beautiful. There is hiking, fishing, boating and horse trails near by.

The campground was lovely. The host was terrific. The biggest problem was the severe swarms of mosquitoes, that made it almost impossible to enjoy ourselves.
