We stayed here for a weekend getaway and enjoyed our stay. The campground was fairly quiet even though our spot was by the road. The lake is very choppy so I would forewarn anyone looking to stay at a calmer lake. My husband took his aluminum boat out and nearly capsized. The bathrooms are at a decent distance from most sites and were clean and did not smell. I will say the spots are quite small. This is definitely a tent camping campground. My parents met us and had their large truck and trailer and barely made a walk in site work. The site we used for our tent was still fairly small for a campsite but we made due. The sites are quite a bit farther from each other too, so if you are camping with a big group try for a bigger spot. This was nice for us because it meant we still had space and were secluded, but it would make it difficult for larger camp groups. It made for a quiet weekend for us since other campers were so far away. The camphosts at the time were VERY nice and friendly. I cannot remember their names but they were very accommodating. I would recommend this campground to tent campers who do not need a lot of space and who like fishing. We caught quite a few fish and they have a very tidy fish cleaning station by the dock. There is also a dumpster for trash and water spouts. It was a great time overall and we wish we could have stayed longer than just the weekend.
