The highway noise is almost unbearable unless you have soundproofing measures, no matter which campsite you stay. Our site #7 had awesome views of the lake, but it was road noisy. We were tent camping which didn’t help.
Other campers on this weekend were quiet and considerate..

Map of park showed that the spot we reserved was a "pull thru"..... it wasn't. Host said Forest Service had blocked off one of the road accesses about 3 yrs ago..... CHANGE it on the map ! Besides that, there was someone IN our spot that should not have been....... nothing else was really going to work for us, so we ended up in a parking area, cross ways in 5 parking spots. The host was nice and tried to make things right for us. With that said, it IS an older campground, spots were generally small, not very level with ruts and bumps. The lake is fabulous and fishing good. For one night, we were comfortable.

Nice campground, pretty sunsets....but be aware there is significant noise from the nearby highway.

Beautiful area, but very loud as it's right off the highway. Also, there was an algae bloom at the lake but no mention of that on the website, otherwise I wouldn't have reserved two nights.
