What Guests Are Saying
Whitefish Horse Camp offers great trails, a beautiful lake, and clean, comfortable campsites. The well-constructed horse stalls enhance the experience, and the host is commendable. However, only one trail was cleared, limiting riding options, and guests would have appreciated better updates on trail conditions prior to their visit.

Great hosts! Love that the lake is so close and the campground so private. Would have loved to have the trails cleared of large trees, but nicely dispersed. Also, grateful for water nearby for humans and horses. Liked it so much I came back two weeks later for three more days. Thanks Gerri and Jim

The hosts were especially nice and helpful. It is a beautiful camp and the area is stunning. The trails were challenging with some deadfall but mostly passable.

The camp hosts were delightful and the camp was filled with only horse people most of the time. The wilderness permit box was beyond full and had been totally ignored by the forest service but beyond that the trails were nice and the camp was delightful.
