What Guests Are Saying
Perry South Campground is a quiet, well-maintained site with clean restrooms and excellent camp hosts, making it a popular choice for repeat visitors. The campground features a nice boat dock and spacious campsites, although it lacks utility hookups and running water. Some guests noted issues with noise and site reservations, but overall, the positive experiences and beautiful scenery make it a favored destination for families.

Wonderful park and accommodations, park hosts were great, 2nd year in a row here! But definitely saw 2 rattlesnakes in our actual camp spot. One very large one and one small one. Kind of scary with kids and dogs.

Our family of five stayed here for two nights, using two tents. The proximity to the creek was awesome. It was quiet and set down off of the road. The hosts were super helpful and the bathrooms (located next to the host sites) were extremely clean. It’s a little far from the water, but we didn’t bring a boat, so it didn’t matter too much. Site 8 is a little slanted, but it ended up being fine. We will be back!

Perry south is a nice, small camp ground. The sites are large and well spaced. We have a class A motorhome and while we made it in, I would recommend smaller rigs.

It was ok. The people running the place were nice. The camp sites are very close to one another. We had a group show up at 10 pm with their lights on. The kids beside us came back around 2 pm to start a fire. Not much to do if you don’t have a boat or what to drive for 30 minutes to the state park. The site was definitely on a slight down grade and securing our tent in the ground was kind of hard. Not sure where the tent pad that was supposed to be there was.

The hostess and the campgrounds are great. We had trouble at the boat lauch area, lots of grass on the propeller. We hope that next year it is drugged out. We have never seen it so bad.
