What Guests Are Saying
Perry South Campground is a quiet, well-maintained site with clean restrooms and excellent camp hosts, making it a popular choice for repeat visitors. The campground features a nice boat dock and spacious campsites, although it lacks utility hookups and running water. Some guests noted issues with noise and site reservations, but overall, the positive experiences and beautiful scenery make it a favored destination for families.

We had a great time in site 54, the campers across from us were great, they greeted us as soon as we arrived, the husband continued to engage us every time he drove by throwing up a 1 finger peace sign on the door frame of his truck. We got a 2nd site because I didn't want my 5 year old to be overwhelmed by the amount of attention they gave us, but I continued to use the original site. I hope to see them next year, maybe we can be right next to eachother.

Camp host don't communicate, the dock has screws that stick out and cut your feet. The fish station has a water issue but looks like they where trying to fix it when we were leaving.

The nearby toilet was squeaky clean and smelled citrusy! Camp hosts are doing a great job taking care of the grounds. The site is situated further away from the main driveway to the boat launch, on a hill, and feels more private. Partial shade (mostly full sun from 11-4pm). Very unique area to visit and look at the canyon and the lake. Not the best place to paddle though. The water has unpleasant green color and too many motorboats going fast on the way to Cove Palisades. If you do choose to paddle, go left into the Metolius arm. We only saw one motorboat going past us and it was nice and peaceful.
