I spent 2 days here and enjoyed it quite a bit. They have a lot of space available for campers, some even have full hook ups with dump station right in your spot. It wasn't too noisy, besides inconsiderate campers but the staff was pleasantly respectful with the campers and not making too much noise around them, unlike other campgrounds I've experienced.

They have quite a few spots available for hot showers, playgrounds, and hiking trails to dunes and ocean.

My only complaint would be that some of the spots are not as private as I would like and it was impossible to book a site via online without getting an error message. I had to speak with a camp host who helped me get in touch with someone so that I could book over the phone.

Overall it was a pleasant experience and I will be back.

They are open year round but some loops are closed during the winter.

Wonderful campground. Trees are incredibly tall and plentiful. Camp hosts are very nice and bathrooms are clean. Stay away from "H" loop from October 1st through April because the ATVs will be loud at 7:00 a.m.

Absolutely beautiful campgrounds with lots of staff and park hosts around. Easy access to the dunes and other outdoor activities. Very nice that they have a spot you can buy fire supplies and stuff that was open until 8pm (on a Friday).

Great place to hang out with the family and dog friendly. We drive to this park a handful of times a year. The restrooms are clean for being a state park and they charge $10 to park

We loved our stay! Most camp sites have quite a bit of privacy with large trees and bushes in between. We stayed near the playground and welcome center. Our site was clean, quiet and very dark at night. The welcome center had firewood, ice, fire starter, maps, and cool information about the natural wildlife. All of the staff were super friendly and helpful. There are many trails to ride long distances on bikes and even more for hiking. Many campers had 4wheelers and dune bikes to ride the many open sand dunes. There are two lakes nearby that are somewhat easy to access with a bit of walking or riding but well worth it. One lake is against the dunes which makes for shallow/lukewarm water play even in October.

We saw birds, rabbits, chipmunks, and had an unfortunate few hours of dealing with termite swarms around our campsite.

This campground and park is beautiful and peaceful!
