I had a really good time, I was about a 10 minute walk from both the beach and the dunes.
But when I was leaving I went the wrong way and drove into some water. Where I had originally come from had only a couple inches of water and where I went had quite a few feet. It was a fully functioning trail with no signage reporting high water or anything. I had to get towed and my car is now ruined. People should not be able to go over there. Going on the wrong road should not ruin your car.
I had a really good time the nights I stayed, exploring the surrounding areas. Making a fire, enjoying the peace, outdoors, and being away from everyone made it a great time. There was quite a bit of atv noise as people drove by but it wasn’t too bad. But the negligence of the surrounding areas and the thousands of dollars it cost me very much stained my memories. So if you go you’ll have a great time but if you see water I suggest you find another path or at the very least are incredibly cautious about the depth of it. I hope this problem will be fixed so people will only have positive experiences.

Great sand camping! Really fun place to stay, just make sure you have a vehicle capable to traversing the sand.
