What Guests Are Saying
Rock Creek Campground offers a well-maintained, serene camping experience nestled in a lush forest near the Oregon Coast, with many sites providing beautiful creekside views and a peaceful atmosphere. The campground host, Lee, receives high praise for his friendliness and helpfulness, enhancing visitors' overall experiences. However, some sites, particularly #2, are less desirable due to proximity to the restroom and road, and access to the beach requires navigating under the freeway, which may be a concern for some campers.

Excellent small campground. Everyone was nice and chill. Beautiful. Nice walk to the beach. Great location. Would stay again!
I visited in my 20 foot RV trailer.

This is one of my favorite campgrounds. Our sites were big enough for a couple tents, and almost all of the sites front the creek. It's a little gem close to great tidepools to the north and a beautiful beach to the south. We even saw a couple bald eagles in the trees fighting over a kill! Can't wait to return. The fact that there is no cell service here is as more of a benefit than an inconvenience.

This is a really beautiful and quiet campsite. We came during the week and there was only one other group there, which was kind of nice. It was also the perfect pit stop on a Route 1/101 road trip, as it's right off the highway. Our campsite was right on the creek and had a nice flat area for our tent. Bathrooms were clean. We also brought our dogs and appreciated that there was a marked off area for dogs and available poop bags.

A nice walk down the road toward the beach, but it's a tricky crossing of the creek in order to get under the bridge. Be ready to get wet if you don't have good balance for crossing on narrow logs! The campground is pleasant for an overnight or as a base for day trips in the area.

We like the small size of the Rock Creek Campground. Even at the height of the summer season it was peaceful and quiet, with minimal noise and traffic. It is situated far enough from Hwy 101 that traffic noise is also minimal. The campsites were clean, and the campground manager was friendly and welcoming.
