Rock Creek Oregon Coast offers a beautiful, peaceful campground nestled in the forest, with clean facilities and a friendly camp host, Lee. Visitors appreciate the scenic surroundings, including a lovely creek and proximity to the beach, though access to the beach can be challenging. Some sites are small and closely spaced, which may lead to noise issues; however, the overall experience is positive, with many expressing a desire to return.

This campsite is a not-so-hidden gem along the OR coast. True, it's not right on the coastline, but is tucked away in beautiful old or second growth doug fir forest alongside a rippling creek. I love the small size of the camp, even though most of the sites are quite roomy. Fresh cold water is readily available, and the restrooms are very clean. I enjoyed a lovely visit and definitely plan on returning. NOTE: The site description probably makes this clear but this is NOT a campground for large RVs...

It was a very pleasant experience. We were able to ride our bikes to the beach. We would definitely return. It was a smaller less crowded campground which we liked. The hostess was very informative and helpful.

Site 14 was a hit. Right next to creek. Salmonberry harvest upstream from site in July. Add to pancakes, sour sweet sensation. Walked up the creek for a couple miles after losing the trail into the Rock Creek Wilderness, accessed just beyond the driveway for site #15. Hike to beach was amazing!!!
