What Guests Are Saying
Rock Creek Campground offers a well-maintained, serene camping experience nestled in a lush forest near the Oregon Coast, with many sites providing beautiful creekside views and a peaceful atmosphere. The campground host, Lee, receives high praise for his friendliness and helpfulness, enhancing visitors' overall experiences. However, some sites, particularly #2, are less desirable due to proximity to the restroom and road, and access to the beach requires navigating under the freeway, which may be a concern for some campers.

Site 14 was a hit. Right next to creek. Salmonberry harvest upstream from site in July. Add to pancakes, sour sweet sensation. Walked up the creek for a couple miles after losing the trail into the Rock Creek Wilderness, accessed just beyond the driveway for site #15. Hike to beach was amazing!!!

This is a great, less busy, campground along the Oregon coast. It is located in a beautiful forested setting yet still within walking distance of a wonderful, non crowded, section of beach. There's no firewood available, so be sure to bring your own.

We have camped her before. This time there was a lot of trash left at the campsite when he got there, including food in a few places. The worst (While at the same time funny, though less so to my wife) was the crack pipe that we found in the fire pit. We will probably be back, but will be wary of what condition we will find our designated site in. Otherwise, we had a great time and feel this is the most beautiful camp site around.
