What Guests Are Saying
Rock Creek Campground offers a well-maintained, serene camping experience nestled in a lush forest near the Oregon Coast, with many sites providing beautiful creekside views and a peaceful atmosphere. The campground host, Lee, receives high praise for his friendliness and helpfulness, enhancing visitors' overall experiences. However, some sites, particularly #2, are less desirable due to proximity to the restroom and road, and access to the beach requires navigating under the freeway, which may be a concern for some campers.

It was great. Nice quiet space to retreat. The camp host was helpful, welcoming and informative. We enjoyed the hikes and beaches on the Yachats part of the Oregon Coast. We will plan to camp here again.

Incredible spot! Our tent was just feet from a beautiful creek that wasn’t too deep for our little ones to play in. The site was very close to our friend’a site (#6) so it was super easy to share campsites. The only drawbacks of the spot were that it could be pretty windy in the evenings and the many tree roots sticking out of the ground. They made for tripping hazards that we definitely could have done without.

Peaceful, green, lush OR coast creek canyon. Small quiet campground with a superb camp host, Lee. The only drawback, and it’s big, is that there is no way to walk to the coast without risking life and limb, at least for us old folk.
