What Guests Are Saying
Rock Creek Oregon Coast offers a beautiful, peaceful campground nestled in the forest, with clean facilities and a friendly camp host, Lee. Visitors appreciate the scenic surroundings, including a lovely creek and proximity to the beach, though access to the beach can be challenging. Some sites are small and closely spaced, which may lead to noise issues; however, the overall experience is positive, with many expressing a desire to return.

Beautiful campground - with most campsites right on the creek! We had a great experience here! There is a wonderful hike where you can follow the creek all the way to the ocean (~0.5 mile)! Campground was well maintained, and the camp host was very personable - gave us great local recommendations and very helpful! Definitely recommend this campground!

The campground is beautiful and very well maintained. The host was very friendly and very informative. Bathrooms were impeccable and there were even 5 gallon Fire Buckets placed at each water faucet.
Rock Creek CG is a very small and quiet campground. Just 15 spaces. Some of the sites are very different from standard campgrounds. The fire ring and picnic table can be on a different level from the parking pad, and some sights are too small for a large tent or trailer. We chose #15 which is the most spacious. And, it is the furthest site in, so even more secluded. There is a trail leading from the back of site 15 that goes up the mountain to the ocean view (through the trees). It's a nice hike for those that are able.
No cell service at all.

What a beautiful wooden oasis. The host was extremely helpful and friendly. The river was clear and hypnotically musical. The one vault toilet (one for women and one for men) was very clean and actually smelled good!!

We stayed in campsites 6 and 7 very nice campsites except you have to watch out for the tree roots at night they can become a tripping hazard access to the beach is just a short walk down a trail can be a little tricky with children but once you get to the beach you basically have it all to yourself very good tide pools with sea life muscles etc drawbacks are it can be a bit chilly because of the tree canopy and there is only one vault toilet for the whole campground. The host was nice.

Rock Creek is a small, beautiful FS campground between a small creek and a forested hill. The surrounding forest is thick and stunning. The Oregon Coast is short walk away.
