What Guests Are Saying
Rock Creek Campground offers a well-maintained, serene camping experience nestled in a lush forest near the Oregon Coast, with many sites providing beautiful creekside views and a peaceful atmosphere. The campground host, Lee, receives high praise for his friendliness and helpfulness, enhancing visitors' overall experiences. However, some sites, particularly #2, are less desirable due to proximity to the restroom and road, and access to the beach requires navigating under the freeway, which may be a concern for some campers.

What a beautiful wooden oasis. The host was extremely helpful and friendly. The river was clear and hypnotically musical. The one vault toilet (one for women and one for men) was very clean and actually smelled good!!

We stayed in campsites 6 and 7 very nice campsites except you have to watch out for the tree roots at night they can become a tripping hazard access to the beach is just a short walk down a trail can be a little tricky with children but once you get to the beach you basically have it all to yourself very good tide pools with sea life muscles etc drawbacks are it can be a bit chilly because of the tree canopy and there is only one vault toilet for the whole campground. The host was nice.

Rock Creek is a small, beautiful FS campground between a small creek and a forested hill. The surrounding forest is thick and stunning. The Oregon Coast is short walk away.

Our camp host Lee was amazing. We were on our1st trailer trip and it could have been a disaster,we had no power,no light only a flashlight. He helped us find out that it was a bad fuse and gave us a fuse till we could get to town to get some. He checked on us to be sure we were ok. The grounds were beautiful, quiet, and clean. Neighboring campers respectful. Soothing creek right by our table, couldn’t have been nicer. Thank you Lee for making our stay awesome! Francis family ps if you want to go to beach go North just a bit first parking turn out has nice area, or towards Florence to Carl Washburn picnic area great area. Also has dump station for trailers/ campers.
