What Guests Are Saying
Rock Creek Campground offers a well-maintained, serene camping experience nestled in a lush forest near the Oregon Coast, with many sites providing beautiful creekside views and a peaceful atmosphere. The campground host, Lee, receives high praise for his friendliness and helpfulness, enhancing visitors' overall experiences. However, some sites, particularly #2, are less desirable due to proximity to the restroom and road, and access to the beach requires navigating under the freeway, which may be a concern for some campers.

Campground was very nice, peaceful even when full. River was beautiful, clean, and cold! Bathroom very clean and camp host Holly was great. Stayed for 3 nights, was hard to leave. Beach access was a walk, but a nice one. The size of the trees amazed use every day!

We had great fun staying here for two nights. Our site has enough flat area for fit one tent, but other site (site 8 for example) has more space. The host was very friendly. The camp site is very close to the beach: short walk cross under the 101 bridge and the creek, however, it is challenging for people with disabilities since it is not a paved road.

The camp host was fabulous and really kept everything clean and tidy! Lovely site, small footprints but cozy. Very shaded, which is great when it's warm, but the weather was much colder than we were hoping for, so the shadiness kept things chilly. But we had a nice quiet neighbour who made up for the loud, obnoxious people next to us last time we stayed!

Access to the beach is difficult. There isn’t much of a trail and it requires hopping the creek in logs, which can be slippery.

Do not book spot 2 or even 1 unless you want to pay nearly $40 to be basically 5 Ft from the pit toilets. Didn’t even stay the night, ended up going to another site and paying another fee just so I didn’t have to sleep right next to the bathroom and the campground entrance/exit.
