What Guests Are Saying
Rock Creek Campground offers a well-maintained, serene camping experience nestled in a lush forest near the Oregon Coast, with many sites providing beautiful creekside views and a peaceful atmosphere. The campground host, Lee, receives high praise for his friendliness and helpfulness, enhancing visitors' overall experiences. However, some sites, particularly #2, are less desirable due to proximity to the restroom and road, and access to the beach requires navigating under the freeway, which may be a concern for some campers.

This site has plenty of room for a large tent. Unfortunately there were a handful of people that would come by to check out a small trail that starts/ends right at site #15. Not the best option if you’re not into the idea of people walking immediately next to your car and tent at their leisure throughout the day. It was a bit unnerving hearing people’s footsteps outside my tent unexpectedly.

This was a price of paradise. The campsite was awe inspiring, the host was friendly and helpful and the access to cool spots was endless.

Beautiful campground - with most campsites right on the creek! We had a great experience here! There is a wonderful hike where you can follow the creek all the way to the ocean (~0.5 mile)! Campground was well maintained, and the camp host was very personable - gave us great local recommendations and very helpful! Definitely recommend this campground!

The campground is beautiful and very well maintained. The host was very friendly and very informative. Bathrooms were impeccable and there were even 5 gallon Fire Buckets placed at each water faucet.
Rock Creek CG is a very small and quiet campground. Just 15 spaces. Some of the sites are very different from standard campgrounds. The fire ring and picnic table can be on a different level from the parking pad, and some sights are too small for a large tent or trailer. We chose #15 which is the most spacious. And, it is the furthest site in, so even more secluded. There is a trail leading from the back of site 15 that goes up the mountain to the ocean view (through the trees). It's a nice hike for those that are able.
No cell service at all.
