What Guests Are Saying

Sutton Campground is highly praised for its cleanliness, quiet atmosphere, and well-maintained facilities, including restrooms. Campers appreciate the spacious sites, friendly hosts, and beautiful natural surroundings, making it ideal for family and group camping. However, some noted the absence of showers, limited RV hookups, and occasional issues with tree branches obstructing access.

A clean, friendly, well-run campground located in a magnificent setting. Couldn't ask for a better weekend away!

This was a really great campground, especially with the heat dome that was around a week earlier. Group Site A is basically a meadow that could probably fit 20 tents. A lazy creek is at the back of the site, with newts in it. Tons of great hiking trails right next to the camp. Bathrooms and campsite were clean & the hosts were marvelous!

A-15 Electrical only. Stayed one night. Great, private site and easy to back into with our 22ft. trailer. Easy to level our trailer. Lots of undergrowth to shield from nearby campsites. The clean restrooms were very close. The entire place was so quiet. Much more pleasant experience than the mega-campground south of Florence.

We'll be back on another trip to spend more.

This is one of the quietest campgrounds we've stayed at. As tent campers, this is important to us. The we had was large and private. Hiking trails starting from the campground are nice a varied.

Very nice experience. The campground was full but the sites are so big it didn't seem like it was crowded at all.

This campground is a hidden gem... set far enough off the highway and is quiet. Most sites are well buffered.
Close enough to all town activities but far enough to be out of the rat race.
Hiking trails are great and access to the beach is not far.
To top this all off , the camp hosts ( who have been here several years) are the best!!
