Sites were excellent, camp host was friendly, and there's a general store about a mile up the road for ice and anything you forgot at home.
This has great access to Toketee Lake and other cool waterfalls along the Umpqua River. Our stay in the first half of August was great until wildfire smoke settled in and was pretty intense. Not the fault of the park though- it's a beautiful spot, and federal campgrounds with flush toilets are hard to find!

Showed up and someone elses name was on my campsite. I drove around for over an hour trying to figure out if maybe it was somewhere else. Tried to hollar at the host and knock on their door 4 times and no one was there to help. We ended up having to leave and get another site on the coast almost 2 hours away. What a waste of my time.

Excellent experience. HOWEVER WE DISCOVERED THAT BEAVER SITE 09 IS BOOKED BY THE SAME FAMILY THE ENTIRE SUMMER and it is impossible to reverve that site. Camp host Mike knows but is unable to act. This should NOT be allowed. I would appreciate a response.
