Hebo Lake Campground is ideal for those wanting a secluded, quiet camping getaway in the forest. Located on Mt. Hebo, this small, family campground has 12 campsites, a historic picnic shelter, a three-acre lake, and access to hiking trails. All 12 campsites are reservable from April through October. The picnic shelter can also be reserved for day-use activities, for groups of up to 25 people. During the winter months (November-March) the campground is closed and is only available for day-use activities. April and October campsites are weather dependent so please be prepared for cancellations. If this happens your reservations will be refunded.  Hebo Lake is cashless so please pay before you arrive as service is limited at the campground. You can either download the recreation.gov app on your phone to pay for day-use and camping fees or go online on your computer or tablet to recreation.gov and pay there. Please go to Siuslaw National Forest on rec.gov and look for day use or if you are camping please pick your site and length of stay at the campground. Any questions please contact the Hebo Ranger Station at (503) 392-5100 we are open Monday - Friday 8 AM - 4 PM.

Wonderful, quiet camping experience. Grandson will never forget catching his first fish here at age 17 (big city kid). Priceless memories with his grandpa.

The care takers were so very nice. It rained like crazy, but was so beautiful. Outhouses were spotless. THANK YOU!

My reserved spot was taken by someone else, there was a glitch in the system and overbooked two different parties, but the camp hosts were super awesome about making sure everyone had what they needed and everyone got somewhere to stay! Great little place!

Love the tranquility here! We come here at least once per year. Campground is quiet, restrooms are clean and smell good considering they’re outhouses. Camp hosts do a good job of maintaining the grounds and keeping an eye out.
