What Guests Are Saying
Hebo Lake Campground is a beautiful and tranquil location, praised for its clean facilities, friendly hosts, and stunning natural surroundings, including good fishing opportunities and wildlife sightings. Many campers enjoyed spacious and private sites, particularly sites #4 and #7, and appreciated the peaceful atmosphere and well-maintained trails. However, some noted challenges with the reservation process, litter from day users, and occasional noise from other campers, but overall, the campground is regarded as a hidden gem worth visiting.

Nice quiet campground. Saw a bald eagle catching fish in the lake. #7 was a nice private campsite.

Trails were great, sanitation was good, hundreds of frog by the lake at night though.

There’s a lot of ground hornets there which was a problem although I get it’s the great outdoors. My little one got stung several times.
The bathroom near our campground was very well maintained and the trash was picked up often.
I do not recommend spot 10 for anyone. You have to go through someone else’s site to access your car and it’s full of holes everywhere, very difficult to walk. We had 10 and 11 together so 10 was used for the kid area.
Otherwise we had fun. The trails are nice and of course the lake small but beautiful. The camp host maintains the area very well!
I would also say a bit overpriced but again we def enjoyed our stay for the most part.

Great spot but very, very shaded. Outside of sphinx in the lake, there is nothing else really happening in the immediate vicinity of the park.

Very nice campground. Clean and well-stocked restrooms. Spot #10 is big. Lake is pretty small, but it did not seem overcrowded. Great experience overall.

Nice place for camping but too many day users coming to early and too many day users walking through your campsite

Gorgeous spot, very clean. Camp host is a miserable human, but we didn’t let him ruin the experience for us :)
