What Guests Are Saying
Sandbeach Campground offers a clean, well-maintained environment with friendly camp hosts and excellent access to the beach and dunes, making it a great spot for families and ATV enthusiasts. Many campers appreciate the spacious sites and enjoyable atmosphere, despite some noise from OHVs and occasional bathroom maintenance issues. While it may not be ideal for those seeking peace and quiet, it provides a fun, active camping experience.

This campground very much caters to the off road sand buggy crowd, so if you are not an OHV camper, be prepared for a lot of noise. Our site was on the side opposite the sand dune area so it was sort of away from the action. There are no electrical hook-ups, but water is available. There is not a dump station.
The campground is near Tillamook so a fun adventure was the Tillamook Creamery for ice cream. We also visited the Jacobson Salt Co. which is a good place to try fancy locally made sea salt.

We had good trip. Family likes the campground, but alot of repairs needed on the facilities here. Every drinking fountained is busted. No running water in some restrooms.

We love the park. We have been going there for almost 50 years. Beautiful area. It would be nice to have updated bathrooms:)

We love this campground for its easy access to the dunes and riding ATVs. The restrooms were cleaned regularly and we didn't have any issues in the campground.
The biggest concern is those people not following the rules while riding but we appreciate the officers doing their best to enforce them.

We like camping here, although this last trip we had a bunch of inconsiderate people who thought itβs ok to ride through others camp sights.

Nice site with lots of room for my 40 foot motorhome and extra cars. Site #52 clear open sky for starlink.

This is our favorite spot to camp. The kids love being able to ride around the circle right by camp and us parents not have to worry about where the kids ran off to. Love love love it

Camping was great as usual, what was bad was how the reservations where handled. There was only maybe 12 sites that were flooded but they put out a email saying the whole camp ground was being closed. They then refunded all the reservation money which we then had to go the kiosk and pay back to stay the rest of the original reservation. They should have just email the flooded sites that were reserved and asked them if they wanted to have a spaced saved in the East parking lot camping. Never have seen a situation like this handled in a worse and confusing way. The camp hosts did a great job trying to fix the situation.

Itβs a nice campsite for those who are only there to go ATV riding since the dunes is walking distance. But my friends and I came from Washington to road-trip on the coast of Oregon, and this place was too loud for our liking. A neighbor was really inconsiderate, revving up their ATVs at 7am and was doing it the night prior till 12am. Guess they were trying to get their ATVs working, but seriously. Sites were really spacious though but very open, not private or secluded whatsoever.
