We only spent one night. The campground was nice and quiet. Being next to the river was a bonus. The staff was friendly and helpful.

Really great campground. Had a spot next to the river with plenty of room between sites. Bathroom was close by and clean. Lots of trails nearby. We hiked to Tanawanas Falls, took a chair lift at Mt. Hood Meadows Ski Area and hiked around Tilliium Lake and that was just with one night. So much to see and do.

Was thrilled to be able to get a reservation here on a weekend with short notice. Site was plenty deep for us to back our 39 ft rig into with loads of space on awning side and clearance for slide on the other. Very pretty creek flowing by at the back of the campsite. The only issue that keeps this from being five stars is just the massive use that these few spots so close to Portland must get. We see this when in USFS campgrounds in CA near LA where the soil is just completely pulverized into powder which is difficult to keep out of your stuff and not terribly fun to sit out in if even a slight breeze picks up. This is also a dry year so maybe it is not as bad when conditions are wetter.

Campground was easy to find, quiet and beautiful. Our site #19 was right on the water and was a very large site with lots of trees and open space as well. Pit toilet was well stocked with TP and very clean. It was our favorite site we stayed in during our whole stay in Oregon.

We stayed in site 7 for just 2 nights in our 19 trailer. It was spacious, with complete privacy from site 8. And pretty good privacy site 6. The creek was right at the back of the campsite.
