Oasis on the Snake is a beautiful and tranquil retreat, perfect for those seeking peace away from the hustle and bustle. The spacious, clean accommodations and friendly hosts enhance the experience, while the serene surroundings and birdwatching opportunities make it a hidden gem. Guests should be aware of spotty cell service and bugs, but the natural beauty and shade provided by trees create a lovely atmosphere.

What a hidden gem! We enjoyed our stay here. The host was attentive and helpful. The bathroom and shower were super clean. River and velvet mountains, great view, and pretty sunsets. Quiet, not busy in spite of a weekend. Highly recommend.

Was disappointed. The description does not fit the actual experience. The campsite itself was adequate but office didn’t have a sign and didn’t know where to go to check in. The “beach” they describe along the river was nothing more than a gravelly, weedy riverbank. $50 fine for parking on the grass. What grass? Boat ramp on the “beach” was nice except that the dog couldn’t go in and swim because of all the fish entrails caught in the grass and floating by. NO internet or phone service. A point in favor was it had great water pressure. It looked like it had seen better days. Stayed one night. No boats or trailers there so not sure why to stay there. Weirdly quiet. RVs but no people out and about.

Nice, spacious, clean place, and friendly staff. Lots of bugs, but that’s not unusual by the Snake River so bring bug repellent. Trees provide alot of shade, there are grassy areas too and paved spots with tables.

This spot is a hidden gem. It is far enough off I-84 to eliminate traffic noise. The combination of the snake river and the rolling hills provide a serene background and a peaceful respite from interstate travel. This is a bird watcher's paradise.

Beautiful, quiet little oasis. Cell service is spotty and there is no wifi... so if you're looking for peace this is your place! Hosts were very nice and waiting out front when we arrived. I cannot emphasize the peaceful quiet, it was a nice break and we loved it.
