There was no working restrooms in our area and some of the water valves where not working. Portable plastic restrooms where overloaded and stank. I have been coming to Diamond Lake about 50 years and the camp is in the worst shape I have ever seen!

Wonderful campground. Good flush toilet bathrooms and nice shower house. Fairly well spaced sites
Only complaint is that bathrooms at south boat launch were closed while we were there

Diamond Lake is beautiful. The campground less so. Many of the bathrooms are out of service resulting in the used of portapotties. Many water outlets don’t work. Deferred maintenance is truly deferred. Oregon Parks can do better. Charge visitors more and develop a maintenance budget worthy of our state.

Diamond lake is beautiful and the campground is very good. I do wish the could do a bit more maintenance especially on the roads where the asphalt is breaking away

Beautiful location along the lake, plenty of hiking and water activities. Mosquitos are omnipresent, so make sure to bring appropriate protection. Very friendly park staff!
The campsites are spaced out nicely, but some of them are not suitable for the trailer/RV length they claim to support (our site supposedly supports 20-foot trailers, but there definitely wasn't 20 feet of level ground). The restrooms are showing their age, as is the case with many state facilities. There were no lights in one of the bathroom facilities, and the facilities were generally run-down.
Overall a good experience.

What a beautiful place to stay! We had a huge campsite in the H section for our large family and it was perfect! The lake was close and perfect! It was the middle of June but definitely bring a ton of bug spray! We also had a campsite on the A section next to the lake and it was magnificent also…shopping and dining close by!

The lake is beautiful. Lots of mosquitoes in June. Be aware that most of the sites are not level and have steep slopes.

My husband and I enjoyed our weekend at Dimond Lake. We stayed in our RV and had a perfect spot (A19) this site was right on the lake and had no sites on either side of us. lots of grass for the dog.
We walked the 10 miles around the lake, took us about 4 /12 hours. We did a few stops along the way. DON'T forget bug spray, tons of mosquitoes!! It was peaceful and beautiful. We stopped at the resort for lunch on our way back to our site
the food was good and staff was friendly.

Fantastic location right on the lake. Great paved trail around entire lake that tween enjoyed on his bike. Entire family rode bikes to the lodge to enjoy the beach, restaurant, and outdoor bar. Great location for a day trip to Crater Lake, but Diamond Lake is a wonderful destination on its own, too.
