The campground itself is beautiful! A lot of the sites have broken asphalt and steep edges from that. Could use some upkeep. Crater lake is a must!

Two bathrooms, one on either side our campsite, we’re out of order. Shower house not well maintained. Fish cleaning stations closed. Water spigots on our loop broken.

It was a great place to watch a perseid meteor shower, clean bathrooms and beautiful lake. My family will be back for sure, just will bring paddle boards with us for next time

Great camp site with lots to do in the area. Beautiful view of the lake and only 10 min from Crater Lake! We loved it and will definitely be back.

Loved the campground! Very clean and quiet.
We were on loop B hard to back in trailers because of the one way road and angle is opposite of direction of road. We had to drive in opposite direction to get in.

Stayed at campsite C10. Beautiful lakeside views! Campsite was really dusty, not much on the ground to limit the dirt (and mud after a rain). Showers were okay, a little dirty. This is a really good base to explore Crater Lake or climb Mt. Thielsen.

It was the worst camp ground my wife and I have ever stayed in. When we arrived there was no one at the entrance booth. A camp site host passing by gave us a map and left. Here is a list of things that made our stay at your park not enjoyable.
1) The camp site was very uneven and hard to get a tent level for sleeping.
2) The two bathroom nearest our camp site was out of order.
3) The closest bathroom had no toilet paper for two days.
4) The women's side had not been cleaned since 06/27/2023, the men's side since 07/10/2023
5) The closest water spigot was about a quarter mile away from our site.
6) The men's side of the bathroom had broken and rusted parts all over the fixtures and smelled of urine. I went to bathrooms from drop toilets that were cleaner than these toilets.
7) The sign in the women's side of the bathroom read: If you had a problem they wanted you to E Mail them with a picture and a written description of the problem.. HARD TO TO IF YOU DO NOT HAVE INTERNET ACCESS IN THE PARK. No One at the booth to talk to.
8) For our three night stay at the park Not one person was available to discuss these problems to.
If here was a way to ask for our money back I would.

This campground is a great location to set up camp for a visit to Crater Lake N.P.
A hike, bike or drive around the Diamond Lake loop is a must to take in the gorgeous mountain views from all angles.
The campground host and Ranger staff were very friendly and accommodating.
Buy your food and gasoline before you get there as the concessionaires at the Marina and Pizza joint are definitely profiteering.

We've been going to Diamond Lake every summer for over 40 years. It has been slipping for the last few years in care and maintenance. The showers are in really bad shape and in desperate need of repairs, the fish cleaning stations were all closed and 2 bathrooms in A-loop were not functioning and they finally brought in porta-potties late in our stay. Understand it was electrical issues but it needs to be fixed with some urgency not 'maybe next year'. The camp host, John Wagoner, was excellent and doing his best to keep people happy. The 1st couple of bathrooms past a-loop would run out of toilet paper since so many people were using them and there was also no one manning the check in booth for many days in a row! Not the DL we are used to and deserve for what we spent to stay there for up to 2 weeks!
