Excellent campgrounds and both of my campsites were great. One star off because some of the water access stations stopped working which was inconvenient

The lake and campground were beautiful. While we were there, there was a toxic algae bloom in the water and I wish they would have done a better job warning folks about it.

Great campground. Make sure to bring a spare roll of toilet paper cause depending on the season and the dates of your visit, the bathroom stalls might yet be refilled. Also if you have AT &T, getting a phone signal at the campground is near impossible. There is usually one place where I can get 2 bars to receive messages but otherwise don't expect to use your phone reliably.

Lovely place, with great views. (The sunrise and sunset on the water was just inexplicable) The campsite was right on the water, and even had some ducks come visit us. The campsites were decently spaced and there was a bathroom nearby. The downside was the bathrooms need some more maintenance: no soap, you had to hold the faucet for water, and there was a hand dryer that didn't work.
Caution to those who want to camp here:
There are A LOT of bugs because you are near the water, not just mosquitos but flies, bugs I can't name, and some wasps. So bring items to help prevent that. I defiantly suggest a canopy with mesh, that way you can eat your meal without having to deal with the bugs.
Second, check the air quality index for fires, and be sure to read the notices before you go!!!!

We were disappointed in the number of water faucets not working. The lack of employees at the gatehouse was also frustrating. We tried to check in and we were told "just go to your spot...we need to go home" but I had told the worker that I didn't have my confirmation with me and I wanted to make sure I had the right site number. She told me twice I wasn't listed as having a reservation. When I leaned in and looked at her computer screen I noticed she wasn't even looking in the right campground. Once she got into the Diamond Lake campground she was able to find my reservation and tell me the site number. I realize I should have had my reservation confirmation with me but it was still very frustrating. One positive note is that the camp host was very helpful and I appreciated him.
Thanks

The campground is beautiful, however there was a toxic algae bloom and we couldn't get in the lake or let our pets in. This was August and earlier in the summer probably would have been fine. We rode our bikes a total of 9 miles on the paved trail around the lake-it was great!

Absolutely beautiful place! Our campsite was right on the water so we got to watch the sunset and see the early morning fog. Neighbors were quiet and the trails were wonderful! Really appreciate the work done!

The tent spot was only dust, not so Nice to pitch your tent on.
Lots of groups where partying and it was very noisy till 4am.
If you’re looking quietness and Wilderness , this is the wrong spot.
The only good point is the showers.
it’s the worst campground i ve been in the us.
