This site was beautiful and super easy to find. We were pretty secluded from others who were also camping which was a plus. I did enjoy being near the water and having that view--we took some pretty amazing photos at sunset. The toilets were relatively close and clean, which was surprising. Plus, the campsite was SUPER close to Crater Lake National Park, which was the sole reason we booked here. Overall, the experience was10/10 and I would definitely come back for a longer stay and partake in lake activities.

This is my 2nd year at this facility. I was hoping that the following issues would be resolved by this trip an entire year later, but they have not.
Multiple Restrooms are in DESPERATE need of repair, refurbishment, and even proper routine maintenance.
1. Major urine scale in men's urinals that is not adequately cleaned. Promotes continual foul odors.
2. Several restrooms are without any type of night lighting
3. No power to some of the outlets.
4. The "cafe" at the southeast end is subject to management's frivolous decisions to close it and adjust operating hours at their discretion - even after employees show up for work.
5. Many tent sites are in need of levelling.
On the positive side,
1. There is ample opportunity for varying activities in the general area.
2. The campground itself is reasonably quiet.
3. There is a good variation of site types - many that are wide open, and quite a few that have good visual and distance isolation from neighboring sites.
4. Ranger staff are friendly and helpful, as are the campground hosts.
5. Despite precursory mosquito warnings, they were very minimal. I only saw less than 5 during my 5-night stay. Yellow Jackets were far more bothersome, so take precautions with appropriate netting, repellants, and traps.

Except for the water being turned off for possible wind and fires we had a great time
Wish they would clean up some of the dead trees in the sites

Really petty area. When we went there was an algae bloom so we couldn’t swim which was a bummer.
There were also an extreme amount of yellow jackets which made moving around the campsite a bit challenging.

Lots to see in the area, close to Crater Lake (20 minute drive), beautiful view of Mount Bailey from campsite. We were in site 106 which we would use again, due to its proximity to the water and semi-openness. Full sun from 10AM until about 3PM. Restrooms were not very clean at all (cleaning is outsourced, per the postings in the restrooms). Showers were especially dirty, but we went to another loop and found them just a bit better, so we used those. The only disappointment to our visit was the condition of the restrooms and showers. Camp host was very kind!

Excellent camping spot on beautiful Diamond lake. Only issue were meat bees wanting our food that were a bit annoying.
