What Guests Are Saying
Ivan Oakes Campground features friendly and accommodating camp hosts, well-maintained and spacious campsites, and a peaceful atmosphere, making it a great spot for activities like kayaking and fishing. While the campground offers beautiful scenery and cleanliness, some visitors noted issues with trash left by previous campers and the presence of poison oak. Overall, it's a highly recommended destination for those seeking a relaxing outdoor experience, despite minor drawbacks.

Nice small campground. Sites are fairly large compared to most I’ve been to. The sites we stayed in (19 - 22) were super easy to back our trailers and boat into. Bathrooms were clean and stocked daily. Great proximity to Lookout Lake. Lots of shade for those hot summer days. Will definitely book again!

site had not been cleaned. There was trash, including a pizza box in fire and small trash laying on the grounds. The host was nice enough, and very much in a hurry.

Ivan Oakes offers beautiful scenery, excellent fishing, and a top notch camp host team of Peggi and Steve Jacobson, who were very helpful and accoomidating, while being courteous and friendly. 5 stars
And a strong recommendation for all to enjoy this gem of a campground in our Willamette National Forest.

Nice, accommodating camp hosts and a peaceful atmosphere for all but one weekend night. Somewhat lacking in privacy between sites but not a problem for us as we had about a third of the campground to ourselves. The lake was very low when we stayed. Yellowjackets were not a problem.

It was a very great experience. I brought my daughter there who's 10 and we went fishing and hiked around the reservoir. The camp host was amazing!! She really helped welcome my daughter and make her feel super comfortable at the camp and like if she needed anything she could just ask the camp host. Which is pretty big deal because she can be shy a lot of the time. I give the Campos to 10 out of 10 and the camp and 8 out of 10. I'll be back
