What Guests Are Saying
Ivan Oakes Campground features friendly and accommodating camp hosts, well-maintained and spacious campsites, and a peaceful atmosphere, making it a great spot for activities like kayaking and fishing. While the campground offers beautiful scenery and cleanliness, some visitors noted issues with trash left by previous campers and the presence of poison oak. Overall, it's a highly recommended destination for those seeking a relaxing outdoor experience, despite minor drawbacks.

Great rustic campground, we had spot 24 and it was nice to be the last site but also the farthest from the closest of only 2 bathrooms. Also be aware of bees in the summertime

Bathrooms were clean. Park was fairly quiet and we appreciate the garbage service. Access to the lake needs work. A lot of work. This was our 2nd year, water levels are so low by the end of August that no one wants to trek the distance to the water.

Nice small campground with no amenities apart from a couple of vault toilets and a hand pump water station. The sites aren't too close together and it's a short walk to the lake. Nice and quiet. Tent campers beware - the tent pads are packed gravel and nearly impossible to stake down or guy out a tent.

Great campground with nice shady spots. The only reason for 3 stars is because there was poison oak EVERYWHERE.

I love this campground so much! Always nice peaceful campers or families here. The camp hosts here have done a wonderful job! Very clean bathrooms and campsites, and well maintained natural trails.
