What Guests Are Saying
Ivan Oakes Campground features friendly and accommodating camp hosts, well-maintained and spacious campsites, and a peaceful atmosphere, making it a great spot for activities like kayaking and fishing. While the campground offers beautiful scenery and cleanliness, some visitors noted issues with trash left by previous campers and the presence of poison oak. Overall, it's a highly recommended destination for those seeking a relaxing outdoor experience, despite minor drawbacks.

The campsite was beautiful! Hosts were incredible and kind. Stats shinned so bright and the lake was perfect to swim or even kayaking

Spent one night here looking up at some amazing trees. Close to the lake. Quiet.

This is a well-managed campground. My site was very private. There are minimal activities besides the single trail close by, but there are many lookout points on the road and there is access to the lake. It is a small, quiet place and the camp host was kind and friendly. It was a great stay for one night on my road trip. It is good to be aware that there is no running water or sink in the bathrooms.

Old camp hosts were terrible to us. The new camp hosts are the best! Very friendly & helpful. The restrooms were the cleanest I've ever seen at a camp ground. We've already booked 2 more trips for this year!
