We were in campsite #3. It is not a very level spot and the sewer connection is just a pipe coming up out the ground with no fitting and located very far into the parking space, so at least two hoses will be required to reach it. The 50 amp receptacle had no power. Water pressure started to drop on the Sunday afternoon we were there. Beautiful site other than that.

Secluded, quiet, relaxing! We were pleasantly surprised at how much room there is between sites. There were a few challenges though. We were a group of 3 rigs and we had to combine all of the sewer hoses at one site to be able to dump! In the future I will be carrying 3 hoses now if I ever make it back here. Area was clean and hosts were friendly. Thanks!

Nice quiet location. Stayed over the July 4th week to escape fireworks and was very successful. Sites are well spaced and mostly level. Awful sharp jagged gravel in campsites is a definite negative. Even with shoes or sandals it’s like walking on broken glass.

Nice spacious sites. Quiet and nicely shaded. Other than some patrols, we really didn’t see or hear much from anyone else. It wasn’t super busy when we went. Come fully prepared, no bathrooms/showers. It is bear county too. We didn’t see anything but small creatures but we had bear mace and there were bear boxes

From Sandy, travel east on Highway 26 for 48 miles to the Highway 26/I-216 junction. Turn left onto I-216 and travel east for 5 miles. Turn left on Spring Drive and continue to the campground.
The campground is accessible via Highway 26, which connects to I-216 approximately 5 miles east of the junction. I-216 provides direct access to the campground via Spring Drive.

Policies & Rules
General
- Tent camping is not allowed
- Off-road vehicle use is prohibited within the campground
- In accordance with standard industry practices, Mount Hood Recreation will be assessing an additional vehicle fee on the second vehicle in each single family campsite, and on the third and fourth vehicle in any double family campsite, provided these vehicles are not joined to the first vehicle by a hitch and towed onto the site. In the case of motorcycles, the first two are considered as one vehicle for determining additional vehicle fees. The third and fourth motorcycle would also be considered as one vehicle. No additional vehicle fees are collected for bicycles.
- Don't Move Firewood: Please protect Pacific Northwest forests by preventing the spread of invasive species. Firewood can carry insects and diseases that can threaten the health of our western forests. You can make a difference by obtaining and burning your firewood near your camping destination. Visit Dontmovefirewood.org for further information.
- Refunds: Refund requests made through www.recreation.gov will be charged a $10 processing fee. This fee is retained by the reservation service contractor along with the non-refundable reservation fee. All requests for the return of the non-refundable reservation fee and the cancellation fee will be declined by the campground concessionaire as they did not receive these fees (these are the fees retained by the reservation contractor, a different entity).
- Fire Restrictions: Fire restrictions may be imposed at any time due to hot, dry weather conditions, at which time campfires and charcoal fires may not be allowed.
