The water is gorgeous!! There are a ton on mosquitos in the summer but if your bring a net to put around your table it will be no problem! The campgrounds were a decent size, and the bathrooms were very clean.

Although it was a bit buggy and we had some car troubles, our stay was nice enough that it didn’t matter. We had an excellent sunset one night and even got to swim a little.

The past two years we have camped at North Waldo without any water at the campground. This is a huge problem because it is an hour one way from any place you can get water. Campers need to be emailed when the water system breaks so they can prepare properly for it. This can be done via the camp ground host and this reservation facility. Email is instant and with all the no - no rules in a campground alerts should go both ways .

For RVers, this is dry camping only. No electricity, no fresh water access, no dump station.
