This campground is beautiful and well cared for. We appreciate that it is now open later in the season than in the past!

Camp hosts were amazing, campsite was large, clean and quiet and pet friendly. Lake was beautiful and trail was well maintained and easy to walk on for my dog and I.

I was told by the campground manager that I could camp in an open tent site but that the website was down and they didnt know who was reserved at any of the sites. They informed me that is soneone came to the site, having reserved it online, they would have them find a different site. I paid for two nights. The se ond night someone showed up and said they paid on the site, even though I had already given the campground manager my money for that night. I was told to move my tent and did not recieve a refund. I would like a refund

You privatized the hosting duties of the campground and they're doing a terrible job of keeping the hosts aware of whether spots are reserved or not. My spot was occupied by jerks who just assumed it wasn't reserved because there wasn't a "reserved" sign. END PRIVATIZATION.

We truly love Waldo Lake and Shadow Bay campground. Big sites right by the lake. Quiet, peaceful and beautiful. The campground hosts kept the bathrooms clean and the whole campground is very clean. We always stay in the non electric tent sites, very private with lots of trees between sites.

Great hosts, beautiful sites, lots of flowers, lots of bathrooms. More people should be enjoying this place. Don’t let the mosquitoes deter you!
