Jantzen Beach RV Park

Just called to reserve a spot for three nights and was told my rig had to be 2016 or newer. I'm a full timer and travel everywhere and my rig is a great looking 2005 class c, well kept and maintained. That's the first time I've ever heard anything like this.

This place is absolutely gorgeous. And so well laid out for any rig. Spaces are wide and roomy very easy to back into or pull through. Very well maintained and clean and well kept. Excited to be staying here for a few months!

Location is the only redemption, super tight, super packed with long terms, cars everywhere, no outdoor space at all. If you're looking for anything other than a "storage" night or two it fits that. We only parked our RV there while visiting family in the area. Wouldn't have liked to stay on board while there. Could be a lot better if it wasn't an RV residency.

We couldn’t make it to the park until after the 5pm closing time of the office. An envelope was left in the box for after hours check in with a map and our spot number, however they did NOT provide bathroom/laundry room cards to be able to use them. We have a campervan that does not have a bathroom. This is unacceptable for a paid campground. We’ve had late check-ins all over the country and have never had this happen. There was no answer for any office lines and security had no answer either. The system needs to be updated to a code system so they can email codes after hours for late check-ins. We even called to let them know we would be late. There was NOTHING said to us about not getting the bathroom card by staff on that phone call.

Needed to move my tiny house for four days so that the roofers could replace the roof on my main property. Like with all roofing jobs, they call you a week before and say we’re ready for you! Fortunately, Janzen Beach had a spot available. During my four days it was quiet and peaceful. The RV park is clean and safe. It has all the services you need if you plan to stay long-term and while I have a washer dryer unit in my tiny house, they did have laundry room with plenty of units to choose from. I walked around, and people were respectful and pretty much kept to themselves. The environment is really pretty. The price was reasonable as well. I bring my own Wi-Fi, but they have Wi-Fi available for people who need it. They had plenty of dumpsters nearby so taking out trash was easy. The RV hook up is pretty standard, I had no problems with water or electricity.

If I didn’t already live in Portland, I would definitely bring my tiny house here to stay while exploring the area.
